DonalThe South Wales Uilleann Pipers have been in touch to let us know about their upcoming Tionól on September 5th. From their website:
Tionól: A day of piping workshops and an evening of concerts.
The next SWUP tionól will be held on Saturday 5th September 2009.
Venue: Holy Trinity Church, Tylorstown.
Piping classes: Tiarnán Ó Duinnchinn & Alan Burton; Reed making: Alan Moller.
Start at 10am – 4pm, afterwards there will also be a concert of celtic music at the same location starting at 7.00pm.
